The Supervisor of Assessments, or Chief County Assessment Officer (CCAO) duties include compiling assessment data from the township assessors, applying township equalization factors, maintaining ownership and exemption records, calculation of farmland assessments, clerk of the board of review, GIS mapping, flood plain administration, member of the plat committee and assisting taxpayers to ensure fair and accurate assessment of property in Hancock County.

Services Provided

The Hancock County Board of Review is no longer accepting 2012 property assessment appeals.

NOTICE: 2013 Senior PTAX-329 renewal forms were due back in on March 1, 2013. They will still be accepted, but need to be returned ASAP. 2013 Senior PTAX-340 freeze application are due back on July 1, 2013.
