A County-owned Long-Term Care Facility Governed By Hancock County Board
The Hancock County Shelter Care Home services anyone from anywhere. Monthly charges are approximately 1/2 of a Nursing Home.
We Serve
- Anyone over 18 years of age - not pregnant.
- Early Alzheimer's and related disorders.
- People not wanting or unable to cook, clean, manage finances, do daily care for themselves, etc.
- Our home accepts Private Pay and Public Aid Residents.
- We offer Private (limited) and Semi-Private rooms.
Our Services Include
- Licensed Nurses day and evening shifts
- Supervision at nights with licensed nurse on call
- Medications passed and treatments done by licensed nurse
- We offer home cooked meals and special diets
- Free transportation for medical and personals needs.
- Activity and Social Therapy.
- Laundry and Housekeeping are provided.
We are County Owned and located in a rural farming community; Please keep us in mind for a "pre-screening" to your new home.
